Paris, Sept. 9. The Letters brought by the Ship called the India Company, arrived from Bengal at Port l'Orient, make no Mention of the Misunderstanding which the London News-Papers speak of between the French and English in the East-Indies: These two Nations act only in Quality of Auxiliaries to the Indian Princes with whom they are in Alliance: In other Respects they observe exactly the Harmony and good Understanding restored by the late Peace. -- So that it is Peace or War as before, neither, just as every Reader pleases to take it.
