Featuring plans for the 1954 membership campaign: "Crusade for Full Citizenship," will be a dinner Thursday night at 7:00 o'clock in the Butler Street YMCA, sponsored by the Atlanta Branch, NAACP.
More than 500 clubs, civic organizations and fraternal groups have been invited to send representatives to this pre-campaign dinner meeting.
This week chairmen of certain standing committees are expected to start their organization work. The program committee, headed by Dr. E. C. Mitchell is busy with plans for the Herman Gantt Recital next Sunday, February 21st at 5:00 P. M., in Davage Auditorium of Clark College. Ticket sellers are asked to call the NAACP office (Main 6064) and give names of their patrons not later than Monday, February 15th.
Monday, the Administration Committee, which meets at 12:30 P. M. in the NAACP office, 204 Auburn Ave., N. E., will set up plans for the Walter White-Thurgood Marshall Day to be used as the kick-off for the "Crusade For Freedom" membership campaign, March 21st. In letters received from both Mr. White and Mr. Marshall, they expressed an eager—(Continued on Page 7 Column 6)
