Full Text

Failure to Receive the "Times" Almost
Causes Rupture in Marital Relations

A New Jersey subscriber to the Gadsden County Times, a former resident of Quincy, writes as follows:

My wife has missed two issues of your valued paper, and I might as well admit that I missed it too. It seems that the old subscription has lapsed for non-payment of dues. Please find enclosed check for $2.50; send us that much of the Times, and when this runs out please notify me direct. Several years ago this same thing happened and almost caused a marital tangle, so please rush us the first issue.

It being the policy of the "Times" to promote harmony among all people and among all sections, back numbers of the paper were rushed to the distressed subscriber in order to avoid severance of his pleasant marital relations and instructions have been issued the circulation department to guard against a recurrence of such catastrophe in future.
