A DANGEROUS ELEMENT

We sat in a barber shop the other day, and listened intently to a barbershop philosopher whose dissipation had annihilated his health for combat service and over indulgence of alcohol had rendered his brain useless for any other duties. As we sat there listening to his verbal explosion of unreasonable and subversive ethics, we then and there formed a conclusion that the Negro's efforts for the improvement of his economical and social conditions were all in vain until we could rid ourselves of such paranoids who have proven a dangerous element to our natural existence.
