RECEIVES BOMB THREAT

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The Headquarters Building of the Immigration and Naturalization Service was evacuated yesterday after an anonymous telephone caller reported a bomb would explode there.

Similar calls resulted in evacuation of the building twice within one week about five months ago. Police found no trace of a bomb in either of those previous incidents.

The newest incident was reported by the Justice Department.

Between 500 and 600 employees were evacuated while police searched for evidence of any explosives, the official said.
