Such is the distracted situation of politics in Pennsylvania, that one part of the community is petitioning the Legislature not to enter into the proposed funding system, nor emit paper money; while other parties are as strenuously praying that the Bank of North America, which hath hitherto proved so highly beneficial to the United States, may be deprived of their Charter of Incorporation.
