MORE HONEY RECIPES
More and more interest is being shown in honey—and we have had inquiries about how and where colonies of bees can be obtained. We were told that they can be bought at Sears and Roebuck's and other mail order houses—by the pound of all things!
CHOCOLATE CAKE
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup honey
3/4 cup cocoa
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 cup hot water
1 cup milk
4 eggs
2 1/2 cups cake flour
Cream butter, sugar, honey and cocoa. Add hot water, beat well, then add well beaten eggs, flour and baking powder and milk. Bake in moderate oven (350) for 40-45 minutes.
