Two men in a boat discovered and located the wreck of the Gleaner yesterday afternoon. She is about a hundred yards from where she went down, is in fourteen feet of water at low tide, and is about seven feet under the surface. They immediately came to town and notified Capt. Jordan. As they left they saw another boat with two men in it pulling for the same spot, but claim that they were the discoverers of the wreck. Steps will be made to raise the ill-fated craft and save whatever is worth saving.
