Full Text
Meetings of the Board are held on Tuesday and Wednesday for the purpose of adjusting some preliminary ones preparatory to the final close of the commission which will be effected in the course of a few months.
We learn, also with pleasure, that there is every probability, if not an absolute certainty, that this commission will terminate, like the same heretofore executed by the government, in a friendly and perfect agreement in the course of this long and complicated line—thus avoiding a recourse to the arbitration of a foreign government as provided for by the Treaty in case of disagreement between the Commissioners.
