Wednesday last a Man pretending to belong to Windsor or Hartford, in Connecticut, who took upon himself the Name of Giles Wolcott, Grandson to Governor Wolcott in that Colony, made Application to some of the Printers in Town to purchase a Number of Printing Types, and afterwards to an Engraver, to cut him a Plate in Imitation of the Money of that Colony, particularly Forty Shilling Bills, but they immediately gave information to proper Authority, who, after Examination committed him to Goal.

He has since confessed his Name is not Wolcott.
