We learn from the St. Louis Times of the 9th instant that no intelligence of general interest had been received from the seat of the Indian War.

General Atkinson was still stationed at the Illinois Rapids, with some three hundred militia; the regular forces were fortifying themselves at Dixon's.

It was believed that in a week, more than three thousand "citizen soldiers would be in the field and ready for action.

The two young ladies taken prisoners at the massacre on Indian Creek, had been ransomed, at $2,600 dollars, and restored to their friends.
