Lecture Series
Begins Feb. 22
An educational lecture series with three talks on special areas of education has been arranged by the Montgomery County Board of Education through its office of curriculum development.
Each lecture of the series will be held in the auditorium of the Educational Services Center at 850 North Washington st., in Rockville.
The series opens February 22 at 8 p.m. when Dr. Jerome Seymour Bruner, professor of psychology at Harvard University, will explain the structure of knowledge and process of education from a psychologist's viewpoint.
Dr. Karl Deutsch, professor of political science at Yale University, will discuss "Creative Education in an Age of Science" at 9 a.m. March 13.
The series will conclude at 8 p.m. May 4, when Dr. John Goodlad, professor of education at the University of California, will speak on curriculum design.
Each of the lectures is open to the public, School Board members and staff.
