Shot His Churchgoing Wife.
New Haven, Conn., Nov. 18.—Meeting his wife in a throng of worshipers with whom she had just left the Sacred Heart church on Columbus avenue, John Tracy, a blacksmith, drew a revolver and fired five shots at her, emptying all the charges of the weapon. One of the shots took effect, inflicting a dangerous though not necessarily fatal wound above the woman's right hip. The other bullets went wild, but one passed through the skirt of a young girl and narrowly missed hitting her. Tracy was immediately arrested. When searched two revolvers, a dagger and two boxes of cartridges were taken from him.
