CLARK BEAT FLORIDA A. AND M. '54. 80 - 57

The Florida A and M Rattlers, always a tournament threat, fell to the Clark Panthers 80 - 57 in '54. The Rattlers last won the tournament in 1952 when they came from a 22-point deficit to deadlock Alabama State and win a double overtime thriller. A and M first won the SIAC tournament in 1942, repeated in 1945, chalked up their third victory in 1947.
