Fair At Puyallup
Having laid out an improvement
program that will take him three
weeks to complete, A. J. Johanns
of Portland, park and concession
expert, is now supervising work on
the remodeling of the house of Ma-
gic in the Fairway at the Western
Washington Fair, opening Septem-
ber 19 at Puyallup.
Upon completion the concession
will have a complete set of magic
mirrors, illusions, intricate electri-
cal "gadgets," a periscope making
the entire Fairway visible, and ma-
ny other amazing features.
Mirrors that permit the observer
to see right through them as he
approaches, mirrors that change
one's reflection into numerous
startling scenes, and mirrors that
do tricks when a person's hand is
waved in front of them will be
found in the "room of mirrors."
To talk over the enlargement
and improvement of his Fairway
attractions, E. H. Bollinger, de-
signer and builder of the Scenic
Railway and Old Mill Ride. visited
the Fairgrounds this week.
Gus West, Prop.
