CONGRESS HEIGHTS MEN MEET.

Strong Indorsement of Rapid Transit Plans in Suburban Districts.

The citizens of Congress Heights met last night, and by unanimous resolution a mass meeting was called for next Tuesday to protest against the decision of Commissioners Black and Wight, which temporarily crippled rapid transit for this section.

Resolutions were passed thanking The Times for its work in the interest of rapid transit in the city's suburbs and also indorsing Commissioner Ross, who was referred to as "the grand old man" and the friend of the people.
