Baby Arrives On Extra Day
Persistent hounding of doctors and hospitals by The Press produced results this afternoon, when a "leap day" baby arrived in this city.
The youngster, Rajol Gallego, was born to Mr. and Mrs. Cajtona Gallego, thereby assuring El Centro of an opportunity to brag about a baby born on the extra day in the year.
A boy born at midnight to Mr. and Mrs. Angel Pecherbo, was the best doctors could do in co-operating, until young Rajol arrived.
Several promises made this morning failed to produce during the day and were reported at press time as "delayed in transit."
