OFFICIAL FIGURES OF THE CITY AND STATE.
Col. Whiteley has completed his enumeration of the census of Delaware, as far as population is concerned, and gives the following as the official figures of the city and State:

POPULATION OF THE STATE BY COUNTIES.
New Castle County, Total 125,015
Kent County, Total 32,605
Sussex County, Total 34,776

The hundreds that show a decrease are: Pencader, 172; St. George's 34; Red Lion, 125; Appoquinimink, (including Blackbird, which was formed since the last census) 155. Net increase in the county, 14,386.
The hundreds that show a decrease are: Duck Creek, 92, and Little Creek 16. Net increase in the county, 2,801.
The Hundreds that show a decrease are: Baltimore, 28; Broad Creek, (from which a large portion of Gumboro was taken after the last census,) 706; Little Creek, 239. Net increase in the county, 3,080.
The total increase in the State is 20,267, of which New Castle county shows 14,386, and Wilmington city 11,744. New Castle County has 10,538 more inhabitants than Kent and Sussex combined.
In New Castle County, since last census, a new hundred (Blackbird,) was formed out of Appoquinimink hundred.
In Sussex County a new hundred (Gumboro,) was formed out of Broad Creek and Dagsboro Hundreds.
