A pamphlet entitled "Slavery and Abolitionism," has just been written by a negro slave, who signs himself Harrison Berry, the property of S. W. Price, Covington, Georgia. The aim of the author is to show that the abolitionists are the worst enemies of the slave.—Exchange.

That is as it should be. Now let Fred Douglass write a pamphlet in reply. Let the blacks discuss the "nigger question," while white men engage themselves in the higher business of defending the country from the assaults of its enemies.
