From Madeira.--The brig Constitution, arrived yesterday at Philadelphia from the Island of Madeira, after a very short voyage of 26 days. When she left the Island it was blockaded by a fleet belonging to Don Pedro, consisting of one frigate, a brig of war, and a schooner. The transports having on board the troops of the expedition against Terceira, were hourly expected. Consequently, the news of their having landed, recently received, was premature. The British frigate Slaney, has just arrived on the station, to relieve the frigate Icarus.--Com. Adv.
