CIO Appoints Jurisdictional Dispute Group

Seven CIO union representatives were approved by the Toledo Industrial Union Council at its meeting Monday for a new jurisdictional disputes committee.

The committee will work with a similar group appointed by the AFL Central Labor Union to avoid and settle jurisdictional disputes.

Named to the CIO committee were Clyde Shamblen, Oil Workers; Chester Kapela, Clothing Workers; William Akos, Glass Workers, and Kenneth DeLong, Textile Workers, and Richard Gosser, Charles Ballard and Orville Beemer, Auto Workers.
