THE "BIG SEAL" CLAPPED UPON LOFOCISM.

In twelve counties Whig gain 2543 since last year in the popular vote. In the legislature the Whig majority now is 31; last year 16—Whig gain 15. A Whig will therefore be elected to the United States Senate in the place of Garret D. Wall.

In 68 counties the Whig majority is 5690; gain 4300. All right.
