Raphael Farrington, presiding minister of the local congregation of Jehovah's witnesses, announced that some 100 witnesses are to attend a three day assembly in Roadtown, Tortola this Friday through Sunday. Twenty missionaries of the group from Puerto Rico are expected to attend as well as 70 delegates from the American Virgin Islands. The Watch Tower missionary yacht, "Light," is expected in port this Friday to pick up the 43 delegates from St. Thomas.
Some of the delegates from St. Thomas who will attend the three day assembly are: Fitzroy Peters; Edmead George; Jacob Paulas; Dorothy Webster; Inger Raymond; Zelda Prince; Raphael Farrington.
A baptism ceremony will be held during the assembly in Tortola. The 43 delegates will return to St. Thomas Tuesday on the missionary boat 'Light.'
