The 1,600 member churches of the Protestant Council of the City of New York have been urged by their executive director, Rev. Dr. Dan Potter, to promote racial neighborhood integration through actively using the Council's Open-Occupancy Housing Program. Dr. Potter firmly asserted that members of minority races must not be discriminated against and should be allowed the opportunity of decent housing in any neighborhood.
