Remember that you are for the men who recognize the liquor men as legitimate business men.
We don't want a religious crank like Bryan to be president of the United States. We do want a liberal minded man upon a sound money platform.
We are in favor of a fair party contest, but we condemn the use of the police force to decide who is who.

Fulton, the Democratic opponent of Judge Noonan, has withdrawn. The judge is a sure winner.
Nat Lewis, the popular district clerk, is not guilty of sending the two car loads of Ogden negroes to the Mission garden convention. Nat has modestly kept on the fence in this convention.
Joe Kohr is the only gentleman for office who has appreciated the Liquor Dealer. Joe will not lack friends on the day that tries men's souls.
The attempt to capture the Republican county organization with a negro mob at Mission garden was a failure. The white men were there.
The use of the police to put one faction in power over another, as practiced at Mission garden on the 11th, is tyrannical and disgraceful.
Bryan has shot off his gun at New York. Now comes the facts—solid facts—No preacher business—no camp meeting enthusiasm, but the cold, argument with the people.
Notwithstanding the fact that the saloon men have paid a big state county and city tax, the city is behind so is the state. Something is wrong.
The good people of San Antonio are tired of office holders combines; they want good men for office regardless of the endorsement of the Big 4, 5 or 6.
