ALBANY, Sept. 10.

LIGHTNING,

In the Thunder Storm, on Monday afternoon, a Son of Mr. Jeremiah Pennel, of this city, a lad in the 16th year of his age, was instantly killed by lightning, at the brick-kiln of Mr. Abraham Hoogkerk; and a Son of Mr. Hoogkerk, a young man in the 20th year of his age, received so violent a stroke from the electric shaft, and was burnt in such a manner that he expired on Wednesday morning, after enduring the most excruciating pains. Of the three other persons who were at work at the brick kiln, and who with the above took shelter from the rain under the shed of the kiln, one was struck down, and the other two but slightly affected by the shock.
