The Steel Workers' Scale.

Pittsburg, December 28.—The scale of the steel workers has been prepared and will be presented to the manufacturers before the 1st prox. Secretary Wm. Martin, of the Amalgamated Association, says he is not at liberty to state whether an advance is asked or not. The manufacturers do not know and the workmen will not make any definite statements, so the matter rests. From the best information at hand, it is thought that an advance will be demanded ranging from 10 to 15 per cent on the present wages.
