Atlanta ration board members will be honored Monday night, January 29, at a program in the Grady Homes Recreational center, starting at 8 o'clock, and the public is asked to attend. Awards to be presented them by District Deputy Director J. B. Hendrick, for their patriotic service to their country.
Those who will be honored from here staffed by Negroes, one in the "Grady Homes and the other in the University Homes housing colonies.
Those who will be honored from the Grady board are Attorney T. W. Holmes, chairman Revs. W. R. Wilkes, W. W. Weatherspool, W. J. Shaw, Dr. Charles S. Johnson and C. L. Harper.
Honored from the University Homes board will be R. E. Cureton, chairman, H. M. Ivey, C. N. Cornell, S. S. Abrams, B. R. Braziel, C. L. Gideons and H. M. Jackson.
