telepathy." Omit MENTAL.

OFTEN MISPRONOUNCED: Hydraulic. Pronounce hi-dro-lik, first
I as in HIGH, O as in BOUGHT, last I as in LICK, and accent second
syllable.

OFTEN MISSPELLED: ComplexiOn; nOt COMPLECTION.

SYNONYMS: Dismay (verb), daunt, appall, terrify, alarm, frighten.

WORD STUDY: "Use a word three times and it is yours." Let us
