We are informed by Capt. Boardman, of the brig Hind, who arrived here, on Sunday last from St. Eustatia, which he left on the 4th ultimo,

That the late hurricane began on the evening of the 25th of August, and continued till noon the next day: That 21 sail of vessels put out from St. Eustatia at the commencement of the gale, but one of which had returned when he sailed: That at St. Kitts, it was said, all the droghers were lost, a number of houses blown down, and several ships drove on shore: And that at Guadaloupe, 6 or 7 droghers and a garde de la coste were lost, and all the people belonging to the latter perished.

-The hurricane was extensive, and occasioned very great destruction in many of the islands.
