Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Harwood announce the birth of a son Sunday, July 18th.

Mrs. Glenn Vaughan and children returned to their home at Higginsville Sunday evening after a several weeks' visit here with relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Kinkle arrived Wednesday morning from their home at Denver, Col., for a few days' visit with Mr. and Mrs. O. G. Congdon.

Mrs. Elizabeth White is visiting this week in Higginsville with her daughter, Mrs. J. M. Dysart.

Miss Nell Drummond of Odessa is the guest this week of Mrs. Jack Cooper.

Mrs. W. G. Harwood went to Warrensburg Thursday for a ten days' visit with her sons, Carl and Willie, who are attending school at the Normal.

Miss Elsie Ike of Kansas City is the guest this week of Mr and Mrs. Leonara Vaughan.

Mrs. Laura Rowley is visiting this week in the country with Mrs. W. Cole.
