Ann Arbor, Mich., May 9—Sergei Rachmaninoff, one of the world's most distinguished musical figures, will be heard in an all-Rachmaninoff program this afternoon. In the first half of the program, Eugene Ormandy will lead the Philadelphia Symphonic Orchestra in the symphonic poem, "The Isle of the Dead," and the Symphonic Dances Op. 45. Following intermission the composer will appear as piano soloist in his own Concerto for Piano No. 2.

The Festival will be brought to a close in a blaze of glory tonight, under the baton of Mr. Ormandy. Preceding this work the orchestra will play Bach's Toccata, Intermezzo and Fugue, in C major, transcribed by Mr. Ormandy. Four renowned soloists, and the Choral Union Chorus, will be heard in the Ninth Symphony: Jan Peerce, the sensational American tenor of the Metropolitan Opera; Mack Harrell, American baritone; Judith Holzwig, soprano; and Enid Szantho, contralto.
