IS AWARDED TROPHY
BY TEAM AT DANCE
At the "Football Dance" held at the Harding high school gymnasium last Friday evening from 8 until 11. Mr. George Daly, esteemed coach of the undefeated and untied Skippers, was awarded a victory trophy by the team.
Jimmy Greig, one of the star members of the team, presented the trophy to Mr. Daly, after which he gave an appropriate acceptance speech.
Mr. Daly, during the intermission, announced the lettermen of this season. They were Bob Lee, Andy Kakas, Jimmy Greig, David Hakojarvi, Don Koski, Russell Steinback, Edward Tobias, Elmer Tuokkola, Charles Hill, Don Cleary, Bob Boyer, Elmer Fundermark, Robert Juzna, Nick Moroz, Robert Orosz, Maynard Tantre, and George Rasmussen. Managers letters were awarded to Jesse Mackey and Elmer Vastyan.
Leading the grand march during the first part of the evening were Miss Aili Hakojarvi and Elmer Tuokkola.
The gym was decorated for the event with pumpkins and cornstalks.
Music was provided by Russ Harmon and his orchestra. Refreshments were served during the intermission by the Girl Reserves.
