SMOOTH MAN WITH A NEEDLE

At left is Pfc. Willie J. Warren, son of Mrs. Callie Warren, 335 Vance Ave. Pfc. Warren is shown sliding the needle into the arm of a satisfied staff sergeant, who is either very brave or very confident of Warren's ability.

A graduate of Booker T. Washington High School and the Memphis Vocational School, Warren is now a technician at Fort Eustis, Virginia. He was assigned to this duty after finishing the course at Brook Medical School at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. He has had prior service in Europe and Korea and holds the Good Conduct Medal, World War II Victory Medal, Korean Occupation Medal and the Asiatic-Pacific ribbon.
