Last Friday Afternoon at the Superior Court held here, came on the Trial of the noted Dr. Seth Hudson and Joshua How for counterfeiting the Province Treasurer's Notes, which Fact was proved so plain against them by the Testimony of the Evidences, that the Jury, without going out of Court, brought them both in Guilty: Several other Indictments were found against the said Hudson for Crimes of the like Nature, for which, we hear he is to be tried this Week: The Court House being too small for the Concourse of People that came to hear the above Trial, the Court was adjourned to one of the largest Meeting Houses in this Town, where the greatest Number of People attended that was ever known at any Trial in this Place before.

Several Persons have been tried at the above Court this Week for Forgery, and convicted.
