Reapportionment of Members of the Legislature Based on the New Census—Want to Take Water.
Washington, March 30.—The house committee on territories agreed to report favorably to the house Delegate Ainslie's (Idaho) bill providing for the reapportionment of the members of the legislatures of Montana, Idaho and Wyoming, upon a basis of the population, as shown by the returns of the census of '80, excluding Indians.
The committee also instructed Representative Muldrow to report to the house the bill to recognize the judicials of Alaska.
