Lake View.
7 miles east of Meade.
Everyone in this neighborhood is praying for the wind to blow, as they are all out of water.
Mrs. Addie Randolph has had to take her washing to her mother's to wash, for two weeks, on account of their windmill being broken.
The people in the school district west of here have commenced their school house.
Mrs. S. M. Bennett was taken quite sick last Wednesday while at Fowler. They started home but she got so sick they stopped on the way and called the Doctor and an auto to take her home. She is better at this writing.
George Richerson went down to his father's near Lakeland last Sunday to help him put out his wheat.
Arthur Randolph was a visitor at Ora Randolph's last Sunday morning.
Mr. and Mrs. Worman called at Will Smith's last Sunday evening.
Mrs. Addie Randolph and children visited at J. H. Randolph's at Meade last Tuesday.
Mr. C. M. Gates went to work on his place south of Mr. Bennett's this morning.
James Sharnce from Chicago is here looking after getting his land broke out. It is in the northeast part of the Leader pasture. He is staying with Charley Leader while here.
Ora Randolph and family called at Mr. Richerson Sunday evening.
Mr. George Reese has sold his little house to his uncle who moved it about four miles southwest of Mr. Reese's.
Elmer and Charlie Worman moved part of their cattle from Will Smith's place last Saturday. Mr. Worman had sold them to Mr. Desmarias.
