Moralist.
It would well become every one, to think, act, and live, as in the immediate presence of God. To endeavor to set the Lord always before us; and whatever we have in contemplation to do, to look to him first for direction and guidance, and aim to do every thing to his glory. Begin, continue and end every day, and perform every action thereof, as under the immediate eye of heaven. Remembering that all things on earth, are but as a shadow; that riches take to themselves wings and flee away; and that religion alone can afford us that well grounded peace which will allay the tempests of afflictions, and guide us in the paths of peace and pleasantness, until we shall be safely landed beyond the reach of woe!!!
