Rollins Protects Law-Abiding Here

ELKTON-Public officeholders who appreciate to the fullest extent their responsibilities of office are greatly appreciated by the public and have the opportunity to carve a career of enviable proportions.

'Prosecution and not persecution' is the motto that has guided the estimable career of Edward D. E. Rollins, State's Attorney and one of the most highly valued members of his profession and office in this part of the country.

With offices at Elkton, Mr. Rollins is rightfully regarded as a dominant factor in his phase of the government.

One of the best testimonials to his ability and sincerity came with his recent election as one of three vice presidents of the State's Attorney Association, of Maryland. He represents the Eastern Shore area.

Upon his graduation from the University of Maryland in 1922 Mr. Rollins delved into the practice of law. He was elected to his present capacity in 1930 and assumed office on January 7 of the next year. The Republican ticket re-elected him for a second four-year term, which began this year.

He expounded laws giving magistrates power of suspension and parole and handling of larceny cases under $25.00.
