Bridge Wanted Across Tracks
A Proposal Endorsed By Lincoln Club

A resolution proposing steps be taken to construct a concrete bridge across the N. P. railroad tracks on Yakima Ave. was endorsed by members of the Lincoln Citizens' club at the monthly meeting held Tuesday night. The span would connect with Center St., similar to a wooden structure across the tracks, which was torn down 10 years ago.

State Representative H. N. (Starney) Jackson told members it was possible funds might be provided at the next session of the legislature for construction of such a bridge, provided the railroad would contribute toward the project.

The club voted to enter a float in the Daffodil festival parade March 30. Mrs. Jeanne Ryan was named chairman of a committee to arrange details for the entry.
