The vote of the village of McArthur, last Monday, is as follows:

Councilmen:
Paris Horton, R. 65
Alex. Ward, R. 71
J. S. Will. R. 68
W. J. Rannells, R. 30
C. P. Ward, D. 59
A. H. Dowd, R. 34

Marshal:
J. V. Kaler, R. 71
J. N. Dillon, D. 48

Clerk:
A. W. Asbury, R. 65
T. A. Murray, D. 59

Even the village of McArthur is becoming more and more Democratic each year. A change of only four votes would have elected our Clerk and one Councilman. Be not discouraged, Democrats! A better day is drawing nigh.
