STEEL WORK COMPLETED.

The steel work on the new highway bridge across Gauley river at its junction with New river is practically completed. There remains only some riveting of the upper frame work to complete the job. The floor is to be of concrete, but in order to open the bridge sooner, it has been determined to lay a wooden floor which will be used this winter. Later when cement is used the floor will be laid one-half at a time and there need be no interruption of traffic to allow the cement to set.
