The Greenock Advertiser, of the 11th January, says, "Letters have lately been received from the Baptist Missionaries at Serampore. They were all well on the 28th April last. Five natives have been baptized and added to the Church since last accounts. Several of the Christian Hindoos discover good talents for public usefulness among their countrymen,-- The four Missionaries who sailed from New-York in the last summer, and who were heard of from the Cape de Verd Islands in July last, had not arrived, but were daily expected when these advices came away."
