HOUSE AGREES TO SENATE RESOLUTION TO DECLARE PEACE Leaders Arrange For Final Action On Republican Measure in House Next Friday

WASHINGTON. May 19.-Following a conference between Chairman Porter of the House of Representatives' Foreign Relations Committee, and Republican leaders in the Senate, held this morning, it was announced that an agreement had been reached whereby the House agrees to accept the Senate's substitute peace resolution. Final action on the resolution is expected to be had next Friday.

The agreement, although not a surprise, came unexpectedly as it was believed that the House would insist on acceptance by the Senate of its original resolution.

The Senate substitute was tabled by the House at Monday's session.
