Full Text

Destructive Fire —The store-house together with the entire stock of goods belonging to Joseph A. Miller, Esq., on West King St., in this place, was destroyed by fire on Thursday night last. It was no doubt the work of an incendiary, whose purpose was plunder, and who afterwards fired the building to cover up the robbery. Mr. Miller had no insurance upon his goods, and his loss will amount to nearly $5000. Col. Nadenbousch's Fire Department was out in full force and worked with a will, but it was found impossible to save anything but the shell of the building.-
