tion of the inhabitants of this city, in general ; and I doubt not but every friend to liberty, and this country, wherever he be, will equally admire the spirit and reasoning of the honorable author, and thank him for his zeal, in the most glorious of all services, the service of his country. The colonies, it ought to be acknowledged, are greatly indebted to him for this and his other patriotic performances ; for they have not only approved of his pains, but followed the first in directing their remonstrances.
