Their method is by a committee daily to visit the House. Mothers bring their children early in the morning, and each has such employment as is suited to it. Food is provided with neatness and in abundance, and after the day is finished an act of devotion closes the scene, and all return to their habitations. The Founder of the society was Ann Parrish, since deceased.
