Springfield, Ill., Feb. 27.--The executive committee of the democratic central committee held a meeting to-day, and after consultation with a number of leading democratic politicians, decided to call a meeting of the full committee in this city on the 18th of March, which prominent democratic politicians, editors of democratic papers and all chairmen of democratic committees are invited to attend. The plan of organization for the campaign contemplating the formation of clubs in each school district throughout the state and a house-to-house canvass of the voters was adopted. The question of the advisability of holding two state conventions was discussed, but no conclusion arrived at.
