The NAACP Special Counsel Charles H. Houston, and Assistant Special Counsel, Thurgood Marshall, are still in the city awaiting to be called to testify in the TVA Discrimination Hearing. As we go to press, the two national figures were expecting to be called at any moment.
Delay in the hearing has been caused by the lengthy Berry case. At the conclusion of this case, the Discrimination Hearing will be called. The case is of national interest, especially to Negroes. Local interest is high, and a large number will be expected for the hearings.
