Ruhland, the largest retail butcher in Chicago, says that he is in possession of documentary and other evidence to prove that a combination exists among the following packers: Fairbank Canning company, Swift & Co., Nelson Morris, Cudahy Packing company, Armour & Co., Libby, McNeill & Libby and the Calumet Canning company, binding each to sell a certain kind of meat at a fixed price and not a fraction of a cent less. A full schedule is incorporated in the agreement and prices are charged two or three times a month.
